Team collaboration

Project invites, member permissions, collaborative link editing, and seat limits from the owner’s plan.

Where to find it

Current project “Settings” tab → “Team” in the side menu. The section is available to the owner and to invited members (members see the roster read-only).

  1. Open the project.
  2. “Settings” → “Team”.
  3. At the top — seat counter (used / plan limit); below — members and pending invites.

Member list, seats, and “+ Member”.

The first successful invite into a personal project automatically creates a company and converts the project to corporate ownership. Members only see projects they were invited to.

Invite a member

The project owner sends an invite by email. The colleague receives an email and an in-app notification.

  1. “Team” → “+ Member”.
  2. Enter the colleague’s email.
  3. Choose permissions: “Full access” or a set of individual grants (same vocabulary as API keys).
  4. “Send invite”.

Invite modal: email and permission picker.

WARNING: seat limits follow the project owner’s plan (not the invitee’s). Seats include the owner, accepted members, and open invites.

Permissions

Member permissions use the same vocabulary as API keys: full access or a list such as “links: write”, “stats: read”. Without the required grant, the action is blocked; the workspace shows an access-denied modal — not “project not found”.

  1. In the member list click “Permissions” for the person.
  2. Choose “Full access” or tick the grants you need.
  3. Save.

Editing member permissions: full access or a grant set.

Accept an invite

The colleague signs into their account (same email the invite was sent to) and accepts from the email or from in-app notifications.

  1. Open the “Join” link from the email or the invite notification in the bell.
  2. Confirm acceptance.
  3. The project appears in the left list; a corporate badge may show next to it.

Accepting an invite: notification or confirmation screen.

Project list: corporate project the member was invited to.

A member works within the owner’s permissions and plan limits (links, analytics, seats). If the owner’s plan is unpaid or in cooling, members are blocked — the UI asks them to contact the owner.

Collaborative editing

While one member edits a link, others see an “Editing by …” badge on the row. Saving a conflicting edit fails until the form is closed. Creates, moves and updates by someone else flash a “Changed by …” badge.

Link row: “Editing by …” badge for a colleague.

Remove a member or revoke an invite

The owner can remove a person from the project or cancel a pending invite. After removal the member loses access immediately: the project disappears from their list.

  1. Member: “Remove” → confirm in the dialog.
  2. Pending invite: “Revoke” in the pending block.

Confirm removing a member from the project.

WARNING: the project owner cannot remove themselves from the team. Ownership transfer is not available in the UI — the project stays with whoever created the company.
