Links and folders
Create, edit, statuses, archive, move and delete — including the edge cases.
Create a link (quick)
“New link” window: destination, short-URL builder, description, tags and advanced limits.
- “+ Link” or right-click → “Create link”.
- “Destination URL” — the full target address.
- Subdomain or custom domain: “default host”, service subdomain / “+ New subdomain”, or an active custom domain.
- Name: manually or the `{random_suffix}` chip + “Suffix length”.
- Optional: description, tags (Enter/space, up to 16).
- “Advanced settings”: start/expiry, click cap, redirect type 301/302/307/308, password, captcha, “Active immediately”.
- “Create link”. “Reset” restores fields to your last preferences.
- Window preferences (subdomain, tags, etc.) are remembered in the browser for later creates.
- On some plans a custom short name without a subdomain may be unavailable — the UI will suggest upgrading.

Full edit
“Edit” form: multiple weighted redirect targets, UTM, budgets, password and captcha — useful for Google Ads, Meta, WhatsApp and LinkedIn campaigns.
- Right-click a link → “Edit” (or the pencil on the card).
- In “Redirect targets” add destinations, weights, and if needed budget/limit/platform and UTM.
- Save with “Save changes”.
- Multiple targets = weighted traffic split (A/B and similar scenarios).
- Link budget and target limits can stop redirects — the card may show statuses like “Budget exhausted” / “Targets exhausted”.
Full form: targets, weights, UTM.
Link card
On the right — details of the selected link: URL, statuses, destination, clicks, limits.
- Click one link in the tree (with no folders selected).
- Copy the short URL, open the QR code, change subdomain, open edit or analytics.
- “Detailed analytics →” switches to the “Analytics” tab for this link.
- Status chips: “Active”, “Archived”, “Expired”, “Click limit”, “Budget exhausted”, “Subdomain deleted”, “Domain deleted”, “Not started yet”, “Inactive”, etc.
- “Password” / “captcha” icons on the card reflect redirect protection.
- A recipient of a password-protected link first sees the public /password-form screen (see “Site and public pages”).

Short-link QR code
For any link you can generate a QR code with the public short URL — for print, business cards, stands and offline materials.
- On the link card — QR button left of “Edit”, or right-click the link → “QR code”.
- In the window — code preview and download as PNG or JPG.
- “Settings” opens advanced mode: size, margin, error correction, module and background colours. Preferences are saved in the browser.
- The QR points to the service short URL (not the long destination) — the link stays under your control with analytics.
- For print on a coloured background, increase error correction and pick colours in settings.

Folders
Coloured nested folders; create via right-click or “+ Folder”.
- Create a folder → colour is required (it will not save without one).
- Esc on a draft cancels creation.
- Right-click a folder: “Rename”, “Change colour”, “Detailed analytics”.
- The “Archive contents” icon on a folder archives nested links; the folder itself remains.
- “Restore contents” brings archived links back inside the folder.
WARNING: “Delete folder” removes the folder and nested folders. Links are not deleted — they stay in the project without a folder.
Moving (drag-and-drop)
The only way to move a link or folder in the tree is drag-and-drop.
- Hold a row → hover the target folder or root zone → release on highlight.
- Multi-select: Alt + click, then drag.
- Dragging between projects does not work: create the link again in the other project.
- Cut/paste via the clipboard is not supported in the tree.
Archive
Archive hides a link from active work without deleting it permanently.
- On the link row — archive icon → confirm “Archive”.
- “Archived” filter → “Restore”.
Archive and the “Archived” filter.
Archive is handy to “pause” a campaign; for permanent removal use “Delete link”.
Delete link
Right-click → “Delete link” or bulk “Delete selected”.
- Trigger delete → wait for confirmation (for links — ~3 s pause).
- Confirm “Delete”.
WARNING: deleting a link is irreversible. The link and related clicks disappear; some aggregated analytics may remain in reports. Do not confuse with archive or folder delete.
